👋 Hello everyone! This is Teacher Lily from English4All 🎓
Today’s question for our Friday Conversational Club is:
🎡 “Have you ever visited an amusement park?”
🧠 Let’s understand the question:
“Have you ever…” is a present perfect question.
We use it to ask about experiences in life — something you did at some point, but we don’t say when it happened.
👉 Example:
- “Have you ever eaten sushi?” 🍣
→ It means: In your life, have you tried sushi?
So, “Have you ever visited an amusement park?” means:
At any time in your life, have you gone to a place with rides, games, or roller coasters? 🎢🎠🎯
💬 How you can answer:
✅ If your answer is YES:
- “Yes, I have!”
- “Yes, I have visited an amusement park many times.”
- “Yes, I went to Disneyland last year.” 🏰
- “Yes, I love roller coasters!” 🎢
❌ If your answer is NO:
- “No, I haven’t.”
- “No, I’ve never visited an amusement park.”
- “No, but I really want to go one day!” 🌟
🤔 You can continue the conversation with more questions like:
- “Which amusement park did you visit?”
- “What’s your favorite ride?”
- “Did you go with your friends or family?”
- “Were you scared or excited?” 😱😄
💡 Example conversation:
A: Have you ever visited an amusement park?
B: Yes, I have! I went to Six Flags two years ago.
A: Wow! What was your favorite ride?
B: The roller coaster! It was amazing but so scary! 🎢😅
So now, it’s your turn! 🙋♀️
