🧐 What does «Talking about my routines» mean?

This phrase refers to describing the activities you do regularly, such as waking up, going to work or school, exercising, or having meals. When we talk about routines, we usually use the present simple tense because these actions happen repeatedly.

💡 How to talk about routines?

When describing your routine, use simple present verbs like:
✔ I wake up at 7 a.m.
✔ She goes to the gym every morning.
✔ We have breakfast at 8 a.m.

🔹 Common time expressions for routines:

  • Every day → I exercise every day.
  • In the morning / afternoon / evening → I study in the evening.
  • On Mondays / Fridays → She has piano lessons on Fridays.
  • At (a specific time) → We eat lunch at 12:30 p.m.
