“Spooky” means scary or frightening 👻. A “story” is a tale or narrative 📖. So, a spooky story is a scary story! For example:
- Spooky stories are often told on Halloween 🎃.
- A popular spooky story is about ghosts 👻 and haunted houses 🏚️.
Examples:
- “My favorite spooky story is about a haunted castle!” 👻🏰
- “I don’t have a favorite spooky story because I get scared easily!” 😱
When someone asks, “What’s your favorite spooky story?”, they are asking: “Which scary story do you like the most?”
