Today’s conversation question is: “Would you rather be able to fly or be invisible?” 🪽👻
This question is asking you to choose between two special abilities:
- Be able to fly = you can move through the air like a bird or a superhero. 🦅✈️
- Be invisible = nobody can see you. You are there, but people cannot see your body. 👻
The expression “Would you rather…?” means “Which one do you prefer?” or “Which option do you choose?”
For example:
Would you rather drink coffee or tea? ☕🍵
= Which do you prefer, coffee or tea?Would you rather live at the beach or in the mountains? 🏖️⛰️
= Which place do you prefer?
So, when we ask: “Would you rather be able to fly or be invisible?”, we are asking:
Do you prefer the power of flying, or do you prefer the power of being invisible?

- Being invisible would be useful because I could listen and learn without interrupting. 👂
- I would choose invisibility because I am a shy person. 😊
- That’s a hard question, but I think I would rather fly because it sounds fun. 😄
Possible questions for the conversation:

Possible answers:

- If I were invisible, I would explore museums at night. 🏛️
- I think being invisible could be dangerous because people might use it in a bad way. ⚠️
- I would use my power to help people in emergencies. 🚑
- I would keep it a secret because people might ask me for too many favors. 🤫
- Flying is more fun, but invisibility is more mysterious. ✨

You can also ask your classmates follow-up questions:

Example conversation:
Student A: Would you rather be able to fly or be invisible?
Student B: I would rather fly.
Student A: Why?
Student B: Because I could travel quickly and avoid traffic. What about you?
Student A: I would rather be invisible because I am curious and I like quiet places.
Student B: Interesting! What would you do if you were invisible?
Student A: I would visit places without being noticed, but I would use the power in a good way. 😊
Another example:
Student A: Would you rather be able to fly or be invisible?
Student B: That’s a difficult question, but I choose flying.
Student A: Where would you go first?

Student B: Why do you think that?

Remember, students: try to answer with because. This helps you explain your idea better.
Instead of saying:
“I would rather fly.”
Try saying:
“I would rather fly because I could travel faster and feel free.” 🪽
